Synopsis
What happens when Kasha runs away? Not from a pot on the stove, but out into the wide world! What will she do there? Befriend Count Lezhebochester and Countess Divanchester? Marry Prince Gadvig? Or perhaps help an old chest of drawers find happiness?
Young Kasha, who until recently was nothing more than a grain, peering out at the world through a narrow crack in a dark kitchen cupboard, sets off to find her place in life. Along the way, she encounters a host of characters and adventures—some delightful, others dangerous.
